A New Door

Frank Zika brought the new door over today so we could see it in place and choose between several inserts. He does amazing work!

We chose this pattern but in a light azure blue. This is California, after all.

While he packed up, I took a picture of the interior paint. One wall is a rich (what else?) chocolate brown.

San Luis Obispo is a small place: we're all 2 degrees apart here. Frank is the husband of a dear friend. It's pretty amazing that he's lending us the door for as long as the shop is open.

He's a great guy - his other project, besides glass, is getting the local farmers to donate the produce that they can't sell because it's too small or the wrong color to the food bank.
